Riverchase II Building in Covington, Louisiana

We’re excited to announce the completion of the Riverchase II Building, a 50,579-square-foot office facility in Covington, Louisiana. This thoughtfully designed, two-story building blends modern architecture with local craftsmanship, creating a workplace that is both functional and inspiring while serving as a hub for community collaboration.

The first floor is shared by Stirling Properties and Duplantis Design Group, while the second floor houses Kent Design Build’s corporate headquarters alongside shared tenant space. The building features three tenant spaces, an open atrium, a shared boardroom, and a shared outdoor terrace, providing a welcoming environment for collaboration and daily interaction.

Thoughtful Design and Sustainable Innovation

The Riverchase II Building exemplifies architectural excellence and attention to detail. High-end finishes throughout, including custom millwork, polished concrete floors, handcrafted furnishings, and architectural lighting, reflect a level of quality often associated with hospitality design. A kitchen and lounge encourage engagement among tenants, while the outdoor terrace offers panoramic views and serves as a comfortable gathering space for team and community events.

Sustainability and innovation are at the heart of the facility. A geothermal HVAC system circulates water through 120 300-foot wells beneath the parking lot, feeding heat pumps that provide energy-efficient, year-round climate control. Paired with insulated low-e glass, the system ensures comfort while reducing energy consumption, reinforcing our commitment to environmentally conscious design and construction.

Design-Build Expertise from the Ground Up

From the foundation to the finishes, every aspect was carefully coordinated to meet the vision of the Owner, River Chase Office II, LLC., and the project partners. The project brought together a collaborative team of industry professionals: Eskew Dumez Ripple as architects, Scott Woods Consulting Engineers for mechanical systems, Bluescope Conventional Steel Services and PSE Designs for structural engineering, DDG for civil engineering, and Parish Engineers for electrical design.

Strengthening the Covington Community

Beyond its design and construction, the Riverchase II Building serves as a hub for the Covington community. By hosting local professional and nonprofit organizations, it fosters collaboration, connection, and engagement. The project highlights the shared vision of Kent Design Build and Stirling Properties, both rooted in Covington, and demonstrates how thoughtful design can enhance a sense of place while supporting the community.
