The Bayou Church
The Bayou Church Expansion project represents a multi-year planning and construction initiative to augment the existing church campus with over 32,000 square feet of new space.
Key improvements include a new main entrance, a revitalized main auditorium, the addition of a state-of-the-art multimedia theater venue, and a centralized gathering area featuring a convenient café.
The expansion incorporated a new wing dedicated to kindergarten through 5th-grade classrooms and theaters. Additionally, this project included transforming various areas into multipurpose rooms and revamping offices and preschool classrooms. For instance, the original "Commons" space was converted into a video production room and critically needed worship team offices, made possible by the construction of a new, more centrally located "Commons" area.
To enhance operational efficiency, a new 5,500 square-foot Butler Storage facility was constructed on the property's edge, providing convenient space for facilities maintenance and additional storage. A meticulously designed garden area, ideal for hosting outdoor events such as weddings and concerts, now connects the church facilities building and the main campus.
