Scott Equipment

This completed 18,000 square foot pre-engineered building, manufactured by Butler Manufacturing, is dedicated for office space and covered shop space.

The service department within the warehouse area features four drive-through lanes, each equipped with 18'x18 automated roll-up doors, designed for efficient heavy equipment ingress and egress. To accommodate these operational requirements, the foundation slab incorporates custom-embedded steel beams specifically engineered to support heavy equipment movement through the drive-through lanes. Furthermore, the facility includes two 6-ton shop cranes, with their structural parameters meticulously integrated into the design of the Butler-furnished crane beams, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.

The building's exterior presents a professional aesthetic, utilizing Butler Rib metal wall panels complemented by an MBCI Masterline panel accent wall. The client's color palette is subtly integrated into various external features, such as the awnings and custom louvered equipment screen, providing a cohesive and branded appearance.

The project encompassed a 6-acre site, requiring extensive site preparation, including the importation of approximately 5 acres of limestone and the implementation of a comprehensive subsurface drainage system.
