Rooms To Go Outer Showroom

Kent Design Build, in collaboration with design firm Casco Corporation, successfully completed the demolition and renovation of an existing warehouse space, transforming it into a 9,652 square foot outdoor furniture showroom and a 7,300 square foot stockroom.

The project included the implementation of modern design elements such as LED track lighting, exposed spiral ductwork, Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) accent flooring, painted exposed roof decking, accent walls featuring face brick, and exposed wood timbers.

Key challenges encountered during the project included managing construction within an actively operating retail environment and navigating long lead times for specialized light fixtures and owner-furnished finishes. The project team effectively addressed these challenges, enabling project completion ahead of schedule. This expedited timeline allowed the client to commence operations before the anticipated July 4th holiday shopping weekend, maximizing potential sales opportunities.

This project represents the fourth outdoor furniture showroom completed for Rooms to Go nationwide and marks the opening of their first such showroom in Louisiana.
