Empowering Women in Construction: Kent Design Build and Habitat for Humanity STW Women Build

The women of Kent Design Build spent the morning of Friday, October 10 on site with Habitat for Humanity St. Tammany West, helping frame two new homes in Covington as part of this year’s Women Build. From cutting and placing lumber to installing subflooring and securing framing components, our team put their construction skills to work in support of local families on the path to safe, stable housing.

Women Build empowers women to lead on the jobsite, strengthen communities, and make affordable housing possible—values that align with Kent’s commitment to building with purpose and serving our community.
