The Kent Design Build Summer Internship Program is designed for students ready to step into the field and lead. Over 8–12 weeks, interns work alongside experienced project teams on active job sites — learning to coordinate crews, manage schedules, track budgets, and keep progress moving from concept to completion.

Based in our Covington and Lafayette offices, the program blends hands-on learning with project site visits across Louisiana. Each summer, new cohorts step into the field and take on real responsibilities from day one.

Applicants should be pursuing a degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field within the building and design industries. Because applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and positions may fill quickly, it’s best to apply early to secure your spot.
