AMG Physical Rehabilitation Hospital

Kent Design Build partnered with AMG to deliver a new 32-patient, freestanding physical rehabilitation hospital in Lafayette, Louisiana. The facility includes private patient rooms, a full-service commercial kitchen, therapy gym, ADL suite, and an outdoor communal courtyard designed to support patient recovery and well-being.

AMG selected Kent Design Build to provide a seamless design-build solution for a replacement hospital with a firm, non-negotiable move-in deadline. From the outset, the project demanded proactive planning, clear communication, and decisive execution to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Understanding the critical importance of the end date, Kent Design Build collaborated closely with AMG, the design team, and trade partners to develop an early-release civil package, allowing site work, utilities, and foundations to begin while construction documents were still in progress. Early procurement of long-lead materials further mitigated schedule risk and prevented construction delays.

Beginning with multiple potential site locations, our team remained responsive and flexible as the project evolved, translating operational needs into an efficient, patient-focused environment.
