Ochsner Medical Center Specialty Pharmacy

This design-build project encompassed a 12,000 SF tenant improvement for a new pharmacy and a 3,000 SF renovation of an existing animal research facility to accommodate new office space within a warehouse environment.

Our scope of work included the development of comprehensive plans for permitting and State Fire Marshal review. The renovation involved the installation of new metal stud framing, drywall, and acoustical ceilings throughout the designated areas. A critical aspect of the renovation was the waterproofing and leveling of the existing concrete slab prior to the installation of new carpeting and VCT flooring.

The mechanical systems upgrade included the plumbing rough-in and fixture installation for new restrooms and a break room, a new wet pipe sprinkler system, and integration with the central chilled water system for the new HVAC infrastructure. The electrical scope of work entailed the installation of new distribution equipment, lighting, receptacles, security systems, access controls, and the deployment of a diesel generator for emergency power supply.
