Ace Hardware Mandeville

Kent Design Build delivered a two-phase expansion and renovation of the Ace Hardware store in Mandeville, Louisiana, utilizing a design-build delivery approach to streamline coordination and execution. Led by KDB’s Covington office, the project was completed for Dylan Realty & Development, LLC in partnership with Greenleaf Architects, with a focus on enhancing both customer experience and operational efficiency.

Phase One included a 9,074-square-foot addition that expanded the retail sales floor and added new support spaces, including restrooms, a breakroom, office space, a meeting room, and a covered rear area to improve back-of-house functionality. Phase Two consisted of a 11,700-square-foot renovation of the existing store, featuring a refreshed front façade along with upgraded flooring, lighting, and HVAC systems to modernize the space while maintaining continuous operations.

Through close collaboration with the owner and design team, Kent Design Build successfully integrated new construction with existing conditions, delivering a cohesive and updated retail environment. The project reflects KDB’s experience in commercial retail work and its ability to execute complex expansions while minimizing disruption to daily business operations.
